– One of the first is due to inflation – we’re seeing some people reduce their savings
-Also found 31% of U.S. workers reduced their 401k contributions
-And 26% cut back efforts to eliminate debt

The 2022 Planning & Progress Study done by The Harris Poll on behalf of Northwestern Mutual found – people believe they need more to retire now – around $1.25M – included 2,381 American adults aged 18 or older last Feb (2022)
Also found: Avg retirement savings dropped 11%
